FINALLY DONE!

WOW , its the biggest relief to finally be finished with school! Right now im working on my last assignment for the semester and let me tell you it feels great! I really feel like i could get up and do a happy dance! The stress of the last 2 weeks has been over whelming and its FINALLY OVER!

Book Store

Im really annoyed with the whole process of buying and selling books. I understand that the bookstore needs to make money but come on do they need to keep screwing poor college kids out of their money to make a profit every semester? I dont understand! Im attending a community college so i can save some money but the book store is ripping us off!

Will an office romance make you more successful?

I really enjoyed this article! They brought up alot of good points and really convinced me that its helpful. I never really thought about it before but now that i do it makes sense. Im considering finding an office spouse myself!

The power of Politeness

This article is so true! Im the type of person that can be EXTREAMLY rude or EXTREAMLY polite. I have to say that being polite gets you alot further in the business world and at school too. This isnt always true for highschool students. Being polite is fair game to being taken advantage of, usually it pays off to be rude.

Abusing Freedom of Speech

This article was a little disturbing to me. It blows my mind that a newspaper would abuse thier freedom of speech and actually not care that they were doing it. It just seemed very unprofessional and immature of them.

Heard it from the work grapevine

I really liked this article. I work for a huge company and we do get e mails daily, but those are pretty much just to keep people from asking questions. It seems as if everybodys talking and everybody knows but nobody will say anything. I hate it. I think the tips they gave will be helpful in determining whats fact and fiction.

I like to watch

I got a pretty good laugh at this article. Its basicly just a pissed off person talking about how dumb it is for people to try to justify what they watch on tv or how much they watch tv. Really they have a point, if its just noise to help you go to sleep... why not turn on the radio? I personally belive tv is corrupting our youth who learn the behavior from thier parents. Anyway thats just my input on the subject.

Defining relationships requires honest

This article made me sad! First of all why would this woman care if she didnt care enough to be faithful to her husband? That poor guy, what a self esteem killer! Maybe im being a little hard on this woman but I hate cheaters, dont give somebody your heart if you arnt ready to let them have it and more importantly dont accept somebodys heart if you arnt willing to take care of it.

Summer Plans

I can't wait until this summer! I have soo many things to do and i hope to god i get to do it all! A few of my summer major events include my 19th birthday... finally! I'd like to purchase a new car if i get my speeding ticket dropped, but thats another story! Im also planning a trip to florida to see my cousin and her new baby and visit an old highschool friend. Then of couse i'll be spending most of my time at work but thats ok because the pay checks are nice! Ahh only one more day of classes!

Body Art

Im starting to believe what everybody says about body art being highly addictive! Today i realized how addicted i am! I have a total of 16 piercings and one tattoo and planning on another one. My brother who has 3 tattoos himself told me not to start because if i started i wouldnt stop. Lets just say i thought he was a nut, but i have to admit... IM HOOKED! My advice to anybody who just wants one... its probably not going to happen that way!

finals suck

Finals suck! Out of all of my years of school i dont think i'v ever been so STRESSED! Its tuesday and I havent been to bed before 3 am sense last wed. and up before 10. I honestly dont know how im even functioning right now im that sleep deprived! I know I know you shouldnt put things off until the last minute but with all of the school work and a job i'v had i really dont think it was possible to get this stuff done any sooner! All i can say is I cant wait until summer!

hot or not websites

So recently a friend of mine told me about this website he's on. You post your picture and people rate you and can contact you if you choose to let them. I find my self asking why anybody would want to subject themselves to that. Do people really need somebody from across the country telling them whether or not they are attractive? It really just makes me sad that young girls are putting half naked photos of themselves on the internet for old creeps to rate. Do their fathers know about this?!

Relationships- The late stayer

I found this article particularly interesting or humorous rather. I really think men should just be proud of thier wives instead of competeing with them. I dont think his wife should be sensitive about it heres why. Young girls grow up with the understanding that the male should be the main provider which gives them all the more urge to succeed. No woman wants to feel worthless eathier unless of course shes a gold digger.

After reading the article " Wife's late night out concerns her husband" i no longer have any desire to get married, Just kidding... kind of. This article really opened my eyes to the jealousy issues that must come about after saying " I do ". Seriously, no wonder the woman kept her night on the town from her husband, im sure she knew exactly how he would react and she was right! The advice given was pretty good, if he kept his wife entertained she wouldnt have to go party with other people. Just a thought.

Spring Break

So for most people spring break is the perfect time to go party and have a great time, not in my case. I worked a majority of the time and sat around the house! The break from school was nice but as sad as it sounds im kind of looking forward to going back so school!

Reading the article " Know the signs of relationship abuse" made me EXTREAMLY SAD! This article made me realize how many highschool friends i'v had that are victims of relationship abuse. I think this verbal relationship abuse happens alot when young girls date older guys which was very popular at my highschool. Knowing about this and boarder line experiencing it really makes me worry for my younger sister and cousins.

I just finsished reading "keys to a healthy happy relationship". I was a little disappointed in this article. Maybe i just expected to much, going over a rocky road in my own relationship i was probably hoping for some better advice! The article was'nt BAD by any means, but it was the same old story we've all heard before.

I just finished reading the article " Trying to be cute will often cost you with customers." I just have to say I thought my sister and I were the only people with this annoyance! This article was a perfect example of company owners being way to overly confident about thier business. I'v had two jobs where i wateched two cocky bosses offend customers to the point they wont return. Serves them right i guess, customers always right!

Is honest the best policy?

I just finished reading " Is honesty the best policy ?" I thought it was great! It reminded me of how honesty will always put you ahead in the long run. Like my mother alyways said, " The truth shall set you free". Liars might have found a quick fix but i believe it will come around to bite them in the butt!
